STEM: Beanstalk

Students take part in simple investigations to find out about what plants need in order to grow and the properties of different materials. They use their ideas to make a model of a beanstalk and a free-standing tower. Students use mathematical skills in three-dimensional space and length as they manipulate a variety of shapes in their environment.
