This terrific activity is perfect for the first day back at school. Students roll a die by touching it on the IWB, and have a timeframe to tell the class about their favourite things. Encourage students to go into detail about each item rather than giving one word answers. It's a good idea to MODEL the activity first, so that students can also get to know you!!
